All Things Being Equal...

'I would hope that a wise white man with the richness of his experiences would, more often than not, reach a better conclusion than a latina female who hasn't lived that life.'

The above reversed-wording was inspired by this similar statement...

Sonia Sotomayor:
"I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life."

If all things ARE equal this statement, made by President Obama's Supreme Court Justice nominee Judge Sonia Sotomayor, will mark her with the 'scarlet letter' of racism. She should have never been nominated, or worse, be confirmed. Period. The only real question now is should Sotomayor be allowed to sit in her present judgeship position or be removed for this obvious and public statement acknowledging her racist beliefs.
